Welcome to The Springs at High Rock!

ROAD CONDITIONS UPDATE – February 3, 2026 – 2:30PM

The plowing crew is working to widen the cleared lane. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated. With thawing during the day and colder temps at night, some areas continue to be problematic. Please exercise extreme caution.

USPS mail service continues to be disrupted. Meanwhile, please clear completely around your mailbox so when delivery is restored, so the carriers can reach it when mail delivery resumes. If you need your mail, please go to the Denton Post Office to collect it, when you feel comfortable getting there.

If you need assistance or have questions, please email springsirc@gmail.com or text/call 336-240-1977

Also please help with communicating updates by texting or calling your neighbors.

Reminder: storm-downed trees.
If a tree comes down and blocks an SHR road, please email springsirc@gmail.com or text/call 336-240-1977 as soon as possible. The Infrastructure & Roads Committee (IRC) will assess the situation, make arrangements for removal if appropriate, and notify the community as needed.

If a storm-downed tree blocks your driveway or is located on private property, HOA Members may contact an independent contractor* directly for removal. Please note that the HOA is not responsible for storm-downed trees on private property.

Or the vendor of your choice. Several HOA Members have chainsaws and might like to get out of the house too …

Please stay safe.
If you have a steep driveway, consider parking at the end to avoid hazardous conditions. Residents are encouraged to limit travel and not go out unless absolutely necessary. Good judgment is the best judgment—for your safety and for the safety of others.

*contact information provided as reference. In no way does this reflect a “MUST-USE” policy. If you have a vendor you’d like to include, please share a comment.

The Springs at High Rock, a gated, waterfront community located in southern Davidson County, North Carolina, sits in close proximity to Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Greensboro.

Our 2,000 acres are nestled on both High Rock Mountain, the highest mountain of the Uwharrie range, and High Rock Lake, the second- largest lake in North Carolina. In addition to private sales of homes and properties, the HOA also lists its lots and properties for sale.

Our clubhouse is located at the summit and has panoramic views of High Rock Lake. On a clear day one can see the Blue Ridge Mountains more than 100 miles away. Its balcony overlooks the adjacent pool, hot tub and the tennis/pickleball courts as well as thirty-five acres of forest preserve.  Take a photo tour of the Clubhouse and meander the Street Map of The Springs.

Three community docks with day slips and a boat launch ramp provides all property owners access to the lake within The Springs. Watercraft can be stored on the premises in our secured boat storage facility.

Nature can be enjoyed throughout the entire community. Cascade Creek with its fieldstone fireplace, shaded BBQ area, ponds, and walking trail provides residents with a wonderful gathering place for social events. Tranquility Lakes has paved walking trails that weave around its ponds through forest and wet lands.

Effective June 25, 2024, all personal 4-digit front gate codes were deactivated. If you have not received proximity cards please contact the Access Team.
